Bruce F. Schafer and Company, Inc. was founded in 19990 with the incorporation of Bruce F. Schafer, PE, consulting engineering practice that was started in 1982. Prior to 1982, Mr. Schafer was City Traffic Engineer, he handled citizen complaints, conducted traffic engineering studies, designed traffic signals, administered signal construction contract and directed staffs of up to 32 members. Staff projects performed under Mr. Schafer's direction included both long and short-term transportation planning, traffic studies, signal design, installation and maintenance of control devices.
